What is Omeosinergia?
Omeosinergia represents a profound shift in the way we understand health & well-being
Omeosinergia is a therapeutic and philosophical approach that invites a deeper understanding of health as an integrated whole. It views illness not as a breakdown, but as an intelligent response that carries meaning, revealing how we experience and relate to life. In doing so, it reconnects the body with its vital energy and restores the continuity between physical, emotional, and relational experience.
OMEO
"Similar, Alike"
Being only superficially different from those around us, we share a profound underlying similarity with the people we attract into our lives. Recognizing this becomes one of the most powerful ways to truly understand ourselves.
OMEOS (meaning “similar”) is closely linked to a central principle of Omeosinergia: “like attracts like.” From this perspective, relationships are not random. Every encounter, gesture, or behavior we experience in others serves as a form of nourishment—revealing aspects of ourselves that might otherwise remain unseen.
In this way, we come to understand who we are through what we attract: in our family relationships, in partnerships, at work, and in everyday interactions. This understanding becomes possible through a simple yet essential act—observing ourselves, our patterns, and the ways we respond to life.
SIN
"Union, Harmony"
To experience an authentic union with ourselves and others, Omeosinergia introduces the concept of perfection.
“SIN” or “SYN” (meaning “union”) recalls its seventh principle: “Everything is perfect.” Here, perfection does not mean “right” or “ideal,” but that every experience is in harmony with a greater design—one that sustains life and moves with it.
From this perspective, nothing happens by error or chance. Every experience, when truly integrated, becomes an opportunity to recognize who we are. When something persists, it is not a sign of failure, but an indication of resistance—of our difficulty in fully allowing that experience to be as it is.
This resistance is known as Refusal: the refusal of the experience and of the “Io sono.” Rather than recognizing the inherent coherence of what we are living, we attempt to change it on the surface, without addressing its deeper origin.
Yet the persistence of any experience is itself meaningful, revealing precisely where this resistance exists. When Refusal continues over time, it can lead to physiological imbalances, affecting the autonomic nervous system and contributing to the accumulation of toxins in the body’s connective tissue, eventually manifesting as illness.
In this light, illness is no longer seen as a mistake, but as the body’s coherent and purposeful response within the processes of life.
ERGIA
"Energy, Spirit"
Three components together describe the essence of the Omeosinergetic method: an energy that moves in harmony, generated through the relationship between similar elements. In this sense, relating to what is similar within us and around us unites us with our energetic and spiritual dimension.
“ERGIA” or “ERGY” encapsulates the eighth principle of Omeosinergia: “The One is Triune.” This principle reveals a subtler dimension of existence, where matter alone is no longer sufficient to explain what sets life in motion.
Within this framework, Omeosinergia considers the fundamental mechanisms of movement as energetic, vibrational, and electromagnetic phenomena—realities that cannot be directly perceived through the senses, yet constitute the invisible fabric of all that exists.
Here, sensory experience meets what is understood as the “spiritual”: the invisible that sustains the visible, the frequency that generates form, and the energy that allows life to express itself across three inseparable levels.
Matter, Energy, Essence: the One in its triune nature.
The Origin - Founders of Omeosinergia
The origins of Omeosinergetic Medicine are rooted in the complementary visions of its founders, who brought together scientific exploration and intuitive wisdom. Their contributions shaped a unified approach that sees illness not as error, but as meaningful expression within the broader experience of being human.
Dr. Luigi Marcello Monsellato
Orthopedic Doctor, Omeosinergetic Doctor, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Creator of Omeosinergetic Medicine
The term Omeosinergia was coined in 1992 by Dr. Luigi Marcello Monsellato as Omeosinergetic Medicine: a revolutionary way of diagnosing, evaluating and treating illness (malattia), not as an error of the body, but as a benattia: an intelligent, adaptive response to how a person perceives and experiences their environment, and as such, a precious source of understanding of the unconscious dynamics the patient experiences in their daily life. Dr. Monsellato brings a revised perspective on inflammation, an in-depth understanding of the body’s organ and tissue communication, and expertise in the specialized diagnostic method known as the “Omeoskintest.”
Giovanna Pantaleo
Omeosinergetic Trainer, Omeosinergetic Naturopath, Creator of the Omeosinergetic Philosophy
In 2011, the intuitive insights of Giovanna Pantaleo led to the development of the Omeosinergetic Philosophy, a pedagogical and experiential branch of the Omeosinergetic method aimed at fostering self-knowledge while introducing a renewed perspective on human experience and the way it's lived.
Many of the lessons she came to learn were taught by her own son, Luca. The most important of these is captured in the phrase that became her motto: “In the darkness, the light.”

The Union of Medicine & Philosophy
Omeosinergetic Medicine was born from a desire to reunite what had been separated. As scientific thought increasingly focused on what could be measured, the human being came to be seen as a collection of parts rather than a living whole. Omeosinergia restores this unity, recognizing that life unfolds through the constant interplay of body, energy, and experience—inseparable aspects of a single, dynamic movement.
Omeosinergetic Medicine
Omeosinergetic Medicine offers an innovative approach to treatment that seeks to understand the underlying causes of suffering, symptoms, and illness.
From this perspective, every physical manifestation reflects an inner Refusal—a form of resistance that invites awareness. Illness, understood as benattia, becomes a meaningful signal that supports recognition of deeper psychological dynamics and promotes self-understanding.
Healing processes are already active within the organism. For this reason, treatment goes beyond symptom relief, supporting a broader process of transformation and self-awareness.
Omeosinergetic Medicine works in harmony with the body’s natural regulatory systems, using plant-based formulations and encouraging self-recognition through lived experience and relationships. It ultimately supports awareness of Life Energy—understood as Matrix, Spirit, or Soul—present within every individual.
Omeosinergetic Philosophy
The Omeosinergetic Philosophy offers a renewed vision of everyday experience, where each moment becomes an opportunity to encounter the most intimate part of ourselves. It invites us to observe how we react, how we move through life, and how we internally experience what happens to us.
From this perspective, every experience becomes a bridge toward others. Relationships are not random encounters, but expressions of a principle of similarity: we are drawn to people who, in some way, reflect aspects of ourselves.
Through this dynamic, others become mirrors that help us recognize our own ways of being, our behavioral patterns, and the manner in which we experience and express emotions—often without conscious awareness. In this way, every relationship becomes an opportunity for greater self-knowledge.
